The Closet
Behind The Closet
My children have always been blessed with so many clothes over the years. Each year, I end up donating multiple bags to places that accept clothes donations. One year I realized and thought about how the clothes I was donating was actually being resold versus given to children who really need them. I thought about my family, my friends, my network of people I knew who were just as blessed as my children and would be able to give to children in need.
So, “The Closet” was born! “The Closet” is simply an idea that we as a community can help children by recycling what we have and GIVING it to those in need.
“The Closet” collects donations of gently used clothes for newborns through high school aged kids. Humility Project then partners with local schools and other aligned nonprofits to provide clothes to children and families for free.
